Fresh Raw Alive! Handmade in small batches using local sprayfree cabbages grown in the Waikato and femented using traditional wild fermentation methods. The process of lacto-fermentation utilises the naturally present yeasts and bacteria on cabbage to produce a sauerkraut alive with lactic acid bacteria and other beneficial microbes (GoodBugs!).
GoodBugs Sauerkraut Juice is a byproduct of sauerkraut production and has been used for thousands of years by itself as a daily tonic (or hangover cure;-). It can be used in the place of lemon juice or vinegar, used as a starter culture for other lacto ferments or to add a probiotic boost to any meal.
